BATTERERS INTERVENTION (BIP)
The Batterers Intervention Program is an education and skills development program for offenders of domestic violence. The program aims to address controlling and abusive behaviors and eliminate violence from the lives of the client and their family. The goal of BIP is to provide clients with the tools and confidence they need to meaningfully support their family unit, including victims and children.
Batterers Intervention Programs differ from, and are not replaceable by, substance abuse treatments, mental health services, or family, marital, couples or other counseling

Curriculum
Change Through Compassion-BIP utilizes materials from Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT), Allies of Change, and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Interpersonal Violence.
Duration
The Batterers Intervention Program consists of a minimum of 36 sessions, including group and individual counseling. A client’s program may extend beyond 36 sessions depending on their progress and ability to show measurable change. Participants are held accountable for their attendance. It is the expectation that individuals arrive on time and do not miss a meeting.
Fees
All payments for services are due at the time that services are rendered.
